Why the heck am I up at 4:30 in the morning and watching ESPN sports center of all things!
Maybe because these contractions are starting to get to me or maybe it is because my husband goes to work at the crack of dawn. Either way I just wish I was still in bed sleeping then typing away. But since I am up might as well make the best of my time. Things on my mind will I ever get done with this nursery, I hate my haircut, thank goodness it is Friday because I really don't feel like cooking tonight!
Today I am 35 weeks and nursery is still not done, no car seat is set up, hospital bag is not packed and diapers have not been bought! Lets give this mom to be a hand clap! I love reading websites on the Internet and seeing their checklist and what should be done already. According to them I am so behind and I bet I would receive the award for best LAST minute mom to be or even better, runner up for huge surprise if you don't start hustlin? You are about to be a mother, your days of running around for errands are over, you should be done.... Blah blah blah This is what I think the websites would be telling me. My thoughts would be but at least I took the child birthing and breast feeding classes doesn't that count for something! Because let me tell you that was something! I won't even go into details with you about these classes but let me give you a tad bit of my thoughts about breast feeding. Nobody told me that this baby needs to eat every 3 hours.... What!?! Also that I should wake them up to be feed... Why on earth would I wake a sleeping baby?!?! I wouldn't want to be woken up if I was sleeping!!! In my mothers words I am in for a surprise! And I don't think she means cupcakes and balloons.
On a positive note, today is Friday! This to me means two things, I don't have to prepare my husbands lunch for tomorrow and maybe I can get away with not cooking tonight....
